assistance to victims of violent crimes that occur in Nevada. |

should apply to the VOCP for financial assistance. |

The Nevada Victims of
Crime Program was established by the Nevada Legislature in 1969, and
operates under the auspices of the Nevada State Board of Examiners, which
consists of the
Nevada Governor,
Attorney General,
and
Secretary of State. |

“It is the policy of the
State to provide assistance to persons who are victims of violent crimes or
the dependents of victims of violent crimes.“ |

Victim Information and
Notification Everyday |

VINELink is the online
version of VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday), the National
Victim Notification Network. This service allows crime victims to obtain
timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status
of offenders 24 hours a day. |
